TLX Cargo launches industry's first anti-virus protection cover



TLX Cargo has introduced the first air cargo industry's first protective shield that seals cargo from virus infection during transport, which will be particularly useful during current coronavirus outbreaks.


TLX WEB15 is made of virus barrier material and consists of two parts-including lid and base-sealed with tape instead of suture material.


Thomas Hunt, Commercial Director of TLX Cargo, explained: "Our customers have always faced such problems, and although they can control the product from virus contamination on their premises, they cannot assure customers that the container itself is not Contaminated. "

The breathable and waterproof material of the protective cover can block viruses between 0.1-0.2 microns, so assured shippers that their goods are delivered "under controlled conditions not affected by the external environment".


Plutonium materials have been tested by Nelson Laboratories in the United States, which is a leading laboratory for virus barrier testing.
