The international market share of China's three major shipbuilding indicators keeps ahead



In the first eight months of this year, the shipbuilding volume of Chinese shipyards was 23.94 million deadweight tons, down 8.9% year on year.

The total number of new construction orders was 28.05 million deadweight tons, down 42.9% year on year. Existing orders were 100.3 million dwt, up 11.5%.

20740000 deadweight tons of export ships were completed nationwide, down 15.9% year on year; 25.37 million deadweight tons of export ship orders were received, down 42.5% year on year; At the end of August, the orders for handheld export ships were 90.3 million deadweight tons, up 11.4% year on year. The export ships accounted for 86.6%, 90.4% and 88.5% of the national shipbuilding completion, new orders and hand orders respectively.

The total value of ship exports was 13.55 billion yuan, down 5.2%. Bulk carriers, oil tankers and container ships dominate the ship export market.

In the first eight months of this year, the top five provinces and cities in China's shipbuilding output were Jiangsu, Shanghai, Liaoning, Shandong and Zhejiang, which accounted for 92.1% of China's total shipbuilding volume.

From January to August, 75 key monitoring shipbuilding enterprises achieved main business income of 182.04 billion yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 5.7%; The total profit was 1.97 billion yuan, up 54.2% year on year.

From January to August, China's shipbuilding completion, new orders and hand orders accounted for 45.4%, 50.6% and 47.7% of the world market share respectively.
