Hong Kong Express launches route to Singapore

Hong Kong Express, a subsidiary of Cathay Pacific Airways, will open flights between Hong Kong and Singapore from February 1.

This low-cost airline will provide flights operated by A320 aircraft every Tuesday. Flight UO780 departs from Hong Kong at 1235 and arrives in Singapore at 1625.

The return trip UO781 will leave Singapore at 1800 and arrive in Hong Kong at 2205.

Cathay Pacific will join the parent company Cathay Pacific, Singapore Airlines and its low-cost subsidiary Scoot to open routes from Hong Kong to Singapore.

Hong Kong Express was acquired by Cathay Pacific in 2019, but due to Covid-19, its service was interrupted for several months in 2020.

The airline’s fare structure has no frills, but there are additional options, including advance and extra legroom seats, food and beverages that can be purchased on board, and priority baggage, priority check-in and fast boarding services.

Readers should refer to the current local entry requirements of Hong Kong and Singapore before purchasing air tickets-these two countries had planned to establish a non-isolated air travel bubble between destinations, but after several months of delay, this plan is scheduled for 2021 Was abandoned in August.
