Native American mask manufacturer accuses China of "dumping"

US media recently reported that “the oversupply of Chinese masks has forced US companies to go bankrupt.” The recently established American Mask Manufacturer's Association stated that its 27 member companies have laid off 50% of their employees. It plans to file an unfair trade complaint with the WTO.

They believe that most of the protective equipment imported by China is sold at a price lower than the cost of production. Some Chinese-made surgical masks have recently been priced as low as 1 cent, but American masks that use domestically produced raw materials cost about 10 to 15 cents.

In response to the report, an American netizen left a message saying: “Now the United States is going crazy because the masks that China sells to us are too cheap, but if China sells medical equipment at high prices (to us), then China will be said to be It is making huge profits, right? Whatever China does, it will be said to be wrong."
