The United States bans the import of Malaysian Top Glove gloves

On March 29, the US Customs announced that the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has instructed all staff at the ports of entry to seize disposable gloves produced by Top Glove Corp. Bhd in Malaysia.

CBP pointed out that after several months of investigation, it has been found that there is sufficient evidence that Top Glove’s rubber glove factory in Malaysia has forced labor. The United States will prohibit Top Glove’s gloves from entering the United States and will be seized by customs when the goods arrive at a US port. .

Top Glove was established in 1991 and is located in Malaysia. It is currently the world's largest glove manufacturer.
