U.S. blacklists 11 more transportation companies
According to foreign media reports: The U.S. government has put 11 companies on the sanctions blacklist because it is suspected of assisting Iran in exporting petrochemical products in support of terrorist organizations in the Middle East and the Maduro regime in Venezuela.
The list includes:
Abadan Refining Company
China-based Zhihang Ship Management
China-based Zhihang Ship Management
New Far International Logistics and Sino Energy Shipping
UAE-based Chemtrans Petrochemicals Trading
New Far employee Min Shi
Sino Energy employee Zuoyou Lin
Abadan (Abadan) employee Alireza Amin
The U.S. Department of the Treasury also imposed sanctions on Iranian company Zagros Petrochemical, UAE-based Petrotech FZE and Trio Energy DMCC, and Hong Kong-based Chinese companies Jingho Technology, Dynapex Energy and Dinrin.
At the end of August, the US Department of Justice announced that it had seized three websites used by three Iranian companies, which allegedly arranged for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) to deliver fuel to Venezuela.
In March of this year, 7 entities were blacklisted for participating in the acquisition, sale, transportation or sale of Iranian petrochemical products.
