DHL raises emergency surcharge from November

  The cross-border freight from Europe, America and other countries to Australia and New Zealand will increase from 0.2 Euro per kilogram to 2 Euro. Because the passenger aircraft capacity in remote areas of these two countries is very tight. DHL stated that the surcharge is only a temporary fee to help companies offset some of the increased operating costs and make necessary adjustments to the air network capacity. The company will evaluate and adjust the surcharge.


   Except for the above routes, the international cross-border freight rates of DHL Express remain unchanged. The surcharge per kilogram between Asian countries is maintained at 0.9 Euro, the surcharge from Europe to the Americas and the Asia-Pacific region (except Australia and New Zealand) and other countries, and the surcharge from the Americas to Europe and the Asia-Pacific region (except Australia and New Zealand) It is 0.2 Euro per kilogram.


  DHL last adjusted the emergency surcharge in August 2020. According to reports, life science and medical supplies customers and DHL Medical Express (WMX) freight will not be affected by the adjustment of emergency surcharges.
