At around 11 o'clock last night (18th), according to the Shenzhen Health Commission, on June 18th, Shenzhen newly reported 2 confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia.
Details are as follows:
Case 1: Xiao, male, 35 years old, an employee of a company in Block A of Houhai Aerospace Science and Technology Plaza, Nanshan District, lives in Baiyueshang City, Nancheng District, Dongguan City.
On the evening of June 17, Xiao went to the fever clinic of Peking University Shenzhen Hospital and stayed in the hospital for observation. The initial nucleic acid test was positive;
After being reviewed by the Municipal Center for Disease Control and Prevention on June 18, it was positive, and was immediately transferred to the emergency hospital area of the City Third People’s Hospital for isolation and treatment, where it was diagnosed as a confirmed case of new coronary pneumonia (common type).
His wife, Li, was diagnosed with a confirmed case of new coronary pneumonia in Dongguan on June 18.

Case 2: Zhu, female, 21 years old, a waiter in a restaurant at Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport, lives in Xinlantian Apartment, No. 71 Shangzhu Street, Fuyong Xiashiwei, Bao’an District.
The nucleic acid test result in the key population investigation on June 15 was negative;
Check again on June 17, and the initial nucleic acid test was positive;
On June 18, the Municipal Center for Disease Control and Prevention also checked positive, and was transferred to the emergency hospital area of the Third People's Hospital for isolation and treatment, and was diagnosed as a confirmed case of new coronary pneumonia (mild).
On June 18, the Municipal Center for Disease Control and Prevention completed Zhu's new coronavirus gene sequencing. The virus carried by Zhu was completely homologous to the three positive cases imported by CA868 international flight and the confirmed case Jiang reported on June 14. Delta mutant strain (B.1.617.2).
